Dr. Mousami’s journey into dentistry began in a multigenerational home in India, where compassion and service were values instilled at an early age. With a deep love for both science and art, she found her calling in dentistry, a profession that beautifully integrates both passions. After earning her Bachelor of Dental Surgery in India, she moved to the United States to complete the Advanced Standing Program at the New York College of Dentistry, earning her Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree.
Since then, Dr. Mousami has spent the last seven years practicing in Austin, gaining experience in private practices, corporate dental offices, and federally qualified health centers. Each environment strengthened her vision for a practice that offers quality care built on trust, clear communication, and patient comfort.
Driven by her mission to deliver affordable, honest, and high-quality care to families, Dr. Mousami created Art Family Dental, a boutique space where every patient enjoys personalized attention in a calm, spa-like setting. Whether you’re here for a routine cleaning or a restorative procedure, you’ll never feel rushed or overlooked.
At the heart of Dr. Mousami’s philosophy is prevention and early intervention. She believes in creating lasting relationships with patients of all ages, educating and guiding them toward better health and brighter smiles. Her favorite procedures include crowns and cosmetic enhancements, and she’s proud to offer state-of-the-art solutions like Spark Clear Aligners and soft tissue laser therapy.
Outside the office, Dr. Mousami cherishes time with her husband and young son. She enjoys traveling, watching movies, and getting lost in a good fictional book. Her warm and approachable personality inspires confidence in her patients, and she looks forward to treating each family like her own.
